Extreme Fitness - Kojo Nmandi Show: “Hyperfitness” [1/6]

Part 1: When I say the work workout or exercise, what comes to mind? For me words like boredom, fatigue, guilt. Most of us want to get or stay in shape but it’s a monotonious process. Too many hours sweating on a treadmill; staring at a mirror in a weight room. So it’s no surprise that many of us fail but maybe because we are aiming too low. Our guest this hour doesn’t lack ambition. He climbed Mount Everest without extra oxygen and he set world speed records for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and marathon running at the North Pole. But he says his approach to training applies to anyone willing to change their lifestyle and push their boundaries. Sean Burch joins us in the studio. He is a physical fitness expert, mountaineer and author of the book “Hyperfitness: 12 weeks to conquering your inner everest and getting into the best shape of your life.” Sean Burch thank you very much for joining us… Allow me to invite listeners right now: How do you set your goals for exercise. How you pushed your boundaries in fitness?
