Ever since I was little I have been slightly to severely pudgy. I have always been told that to increase my metabolism I should exercise more. But the problem is I hate to exercise. And when I say hate to exercise I mean really HATE to exercise! I have been involved in sports and fitness programs all throughout my youth, but I never really ever been able to get rid of my large stomach or horrendous double chin. People always tell me how wonderful it feels after running two miles or doing 25 push ups. I am told of a great adrenaline rush that makes you feel alive when you work out. I honestly have no idea what they are talking about because every time I nearly beat myself to death doing sit ups, push ups, running and jogging ETC. the only two feelings I get are: A) Complete and miserable exhaustion. And/Or B) Thinking how wonderful that large pizza is going to taste after I am done exercising!
I would really love to lose some pounds to allow some of my facial features to become more distinct and not have such a huge pot belly. Unfortunately I honestly do not know how to achieve this goal for in the past whenever I participated in an exercise and diet routine, I would put my self through physical torture and starvation for weeks and months on end only to lose a couple of pounds and remain looking chubby. What can I possibly do?

First of all, starvation never works. When your body is starved it goes into "self defense" mode and will start storing food as fat when you do eat. Eating several small meals a day (of the right foods) can in and of itself speed up your metabolism.

I’m looking for some advice on the best weight loss exercise plan for obese women.I’m a little over 300 pounds and I’m 5′5” and only 21 I’m looking for a weight loss plan for a beginner to start with.I already know about sparkpeople.com So please any other sites with information or any diet programs that are cheap or free for beginners.

Start slow. Doing too much at once decreases your chances of sticking to a workout plan. Try walking for 10-15 minutes at a brisk pace (you can adjust this if it is too much or too little). As this gets easier for you, increase your time by a few minutes. You want to do this most days of the week (at least 5), although it may be best to start with 3 days/week and work up from there. Set goals for yourself. For example, in one month be able to walk for 30 minutes, 4 days/week. In 2 months be able to walk for 45 minutes. As you are able to increase the time that you workout for, you will be able to burn more calories, which will help you to burn fat faster. Since you are overweight, you don’t want to do too much too quickly because this could lead to sore knees, which would discourage you from working out. Another great option, that is easy on the knees is riding a bike. Good luck! Stay positive and stick to a routine and you will get the results you want.

1. What are the two important parts of physical fitness program?
Skill-related and health-related
Physical-related and mental-related
Heart-related and skeletal-related
Cardio-related and strength-related
2. Cardiovascular efficiency, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and body composition are all considered______________ related factors.

3. Which of the answers below best describes examples of skill-related factors?
Jessica was on the Varsity swim team and volleyball team. Sonya always wanted to join the volleyball and gymnastics teams. Sonya was not able to because her parents both worked and she had to go home directly after school to take care of her younger brother and sister.
Sonya’s inability to participate could have limited her skill-related factors from their true potential, because her environment prevented her from participating in the same level of activity as her friend Jessica.
Sonya suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes due to her inability to develop her health-related factors through organized sports.
Jessica and Sonya have the same opportunities, they are the same age, there does not seem to be any limitations on either girl’s potential for physical fitness.
Sonya’s health related factors limit her from achieving her true fitness potential.
5. Heredity, environment, and behavior are all aspects that can limit a person’s __________ related factors.

7. Body composition is best defined as:
How much you weigh compared to your height
How much of your body consists of fat compared to lean muscle and bone
How much you weigh in pounds compared to your goal weight
How much endurance and balance your body is capable of
8. Barbara really enjoys yoga. What skill related factors are required to be able to hold poses in yoga?

Obviously, it helps to have genes which are resistant to disease and a good doctor to consult whenever you need to, but I have heard many super centenarians from the past attributing their longevity to certain foods/liquids (i.e. blueberries which are full of anti-oxidants, bananas, dark chocolate and olive oil).

So, any thoughts on what the perfect daily routine is? I don’t think you should aim to look like Mr. Olympia (because that would almost certainly involve injecting potential harmful substances into your body), but an exercise program is fairly important? 7-8 hours sleep would be a good idea as well.

Could you possibly draw up a timetable?

i.e. 6am- wake up and do 30-45 minutes exercise
7am- have a nutritious breakfast which includes oatmeal, bananas, green tea, orange juice, eggs etc…

The first thing is to NOT look to a doctor to help you with nutrition or long life. They excel in life support pills that give you poor quality of life and treat symptoms only.

Moderate exercise is the key. If you look at the really healthy people in the world, you will realize that vegetarianism or veganism is NOT the best lifestyles. India that is almost pure vegetarian & vegan has an average life expectancy of 66.1 years as of Feb. 2010 World Health Organization statistics, where as, Macau, China has the average life expectancy of 84.4 years and is the longest in the world. The people in Macau eat lots of meat, dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, fermented foods, only fermented soy, and cook according to 4 cultures they draw their lifestyle from.

That would be a great place to start, but realize that in America, the food industry has ruined the value of our food. The meat you get is from GRAIN fed cows that are terribly sick, the milk is pasteurized because the GRAIN fed cows are so sick it has to be, the fish are fed GRAINS in farms, the eggs are from chickens that are sick, and we are surrounded by allopathic medicine that is killing more people than any one major illness in America today.

Another good place to look is the Weston A. Price people. Get the book "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon and Mary G. Enig, Ph.D. for some very basic good information on nutrition to follow.

Unfortunately you are on your own in this massive pile of indoctrination we have been handed by our government, food industry, and media that are promoting crazy ideas of what health is.

good luck to you

Hey
I’m looking for honest reviews about Joey Atlas’s Lower Body Makeover exercises program from women that tried it.
I read some reviews today about this program and I will be very happy to hear what do you think about it too. If one of you tried this exercises program, please let me know if you found Joey Atlas’s Lower Body Makeover to be helpful or not.
Thanks for you help!

Hey

I bought Joey Atlas’s Lower Body Makeover program few months ago and found it to be very helpful for me.

In the Lower Body Makeover program Joey Atlas shares his unique training methodology which he used to do with his private clients as a personal trainer. It’s an eBook in which details how to perform exercises that provide maximum results for the lower body, how to avoid doing these exercises wrong, and how to eat in order to assist in the fat loss process. The exercise programs that are included in this product will only concentrate on eliminating the cellulite on your legs, thighs, butts and hips by simple lifting and firming. In this guide the only proven way to get rid of cellulite is discovered, refined and simplified.

I think that one of the best things about the Lower Body Makeover program is how Joey Atlas teaches to perform lower body exercises in a way which helps to avoid getting that unattractive bulky look. A lot of women work very hard on their lower body only to get bulky legs and thighs. This is the result of doing the wrong exercises in the wrong way. To avoid this you must have the right kind of knowledge.

I also liked that most of the exercises in the Lower Body Makeover program don’t require any equipment at all, so it’s perfectly possible to do this program successfully without a gym membership or expensive training equipment. Joey Atlas also provides a set of short and intensive workouts which can be done in as little as 10 minutes for busy women.

Overall, this guide was very helpful for me and with the 60 days money back guarantee that Joey Atlas gives to his customers I think that it may be a good idea to check Joey Atlas’ guide before wasting a lot of money on other products that you may find to be useless.

P.S You can also use the link below to get about 25% discount for the Lower Body Makeover including all the bonuses and the 60 days money back guarantee. Hope it helps!

try inverted pushups, legs up against the wall or do a handstand and hold it if you can and then do the pushups. also if you get two chairs by placing your feet up on one with your body facing up and grabbing onto the other chair and pushing up and down (if you get me) then you work your arms in different ways. without weights or machines its pretty hard to have a good workout but yea that sorta thing and chinups, your pretty much on the right track

How about doing at the time of day you work best at. Do a little each day like half an hour, until you feel ready to take it up to an hour and so on. Don’t forget to give yourself a day of tho.
