I was thinking of following this plan after I have my baby to get back into shape. I’ll be breastfeeding (need a good diet for that). It just seems like a good way to jump start getting back on track.
Is the nutrition plan easy to follow and are there substitutes in case I don’t like something? For example, I don’t eat eggs. I’m not sure what’s on it…
I know that the exercise is rigorous and I worked out regularly before, but I’m on bed rest for the last 2 months of my pregnancy so are the workouts extremely difficult for the average person?
And are the videos easy to follow? I know on some exercise videos they go through everything so fast and have complicated quick footwork then I have to keep rewinding because I don’t know what to do and I don’t have a good full length mirror to see what I’m doing.
Also, do you need a lot of space to perform the exercises? My space is very limited. Our living room is small, and I will probably be using the television in my bedroom which is about the same so I can’t be taking 6 steps to the side or anything!
Is it mostly for men or is it just as good for women?
I would love to hear about personal experiences with this program.
Anything at all that boosts your cardiovascular system will be great for you and the health of your baby, if the p90x workout sounds right for you (Something you’d be interested sticking with) yeah, I would recommend it. Once your blood gets moving through your body it will boost your immunities therefore boosting the immunities in your breast milk as well, not to mention other great benefits! =D

I would not know anything about how it would effect your breast feeding but i can share some personal experience.
I am actually Doing the P90X program I’m on my 6th week and i have lost about 30lbs so far . If you haven’t ordered the program yet they give you a nutrition guide that pretty much shows you what you can and cant eat, Basically I’m allowed to eat lots of protein but not too many carbohydrates,
The Workouts are not really that difficult and throughout the videos they tell you not to do more then you are comfortable with doing which is great and helpful because you eventually get use to it.
Most of the videos are easy to follow, and allow you to choose what kind of workout plan you would be more comfortable with, there is 3 different setups classic which is the regular program, lean which is basically more cardio workouts (the one I’m doing), and doubles for fit people to get back into shape
As for space, You don’t really need all that much I do all my exercises in about half of my living room which is pretty small.
This program is not biased on gender it works equally for everybody as far as i know.

p90x is wonderful for breastfeeding moms.
You can’t really exercise too much when breastfeeding. You just have to make sure you consume enough calories.
I breastfed my son and did P90X. I got my six pack back in like 3 weeks.
I seriously would recommend it to anyone.
It really isn’t that hard at all, well except for the Kenpo. I suck at that.
I am not really good at doing that. For some reason, I can’t get my feet and my arms to move like they are supposed to
Except for the Kenpo, the videos are easy to follow. And I think that’s just me. Not that the videos themselves are hard to follow
