p90x is wonderful for breastfeeding moms.
You can't really exercise too much when breastfeeding. You just have to make sure you consume enough calories.
I breastfed my son and did P90X. I got my six pack back in like 3 weeks.
I seriously would recommend it to anyone.
It really isn't that hard at all, well except for the Kenpo. I suck at that.
I am not really good at doing that. For some reason, I can't get my feet and my arms to move like they are supposed to
Except for the Kenpo, the videos are easy to follow. And I think that's just me. Not that the videos themselves are hard to follow
References :
I would not know anything about how it would effect your breast feeding but i can share some personal experience.

I am actually Doing the P90X program I'm on my 6th week and i have lost about 30lbs so far . If you haven't ordered the program yet they give you a nutrition guide that pretty much shows you what you can and cant eat, Basically I'm allowed to eat lots of protein but not too many carbohydrates,

The Workouts are not really that difficult and throughout the videos they tell you not to do more then you are comfortable with doing which is great and helpful because you eventually get use to it.

Most of the videos are easy to follow, and allow you to choose what kind of workout plan you would be more comfortable with, there is 3 different setups classic which is the regular program, lean which is basically more cardio workouts (the one I'm doing), and doubles for fit people to get back into shape

As for space, You don't really need all that much I do all my exercises in about half of my living room which is pretty small.

This program is not biased on gender it works equally for everybody as far as i know.
References :
I am on this program

There are more facile methods to reduce weight as an alternative to diet and exercising. You can have a supplement that rinses out your insides, you can reduce as much as 20 lbs like this - and the weight reduces in the right places aswell! There's a risk free trial at http://pinoft.soundnesslive.info
References :
http://pinoft.soundnesslive.info

Anything at all that boosts your cardiovascular system will be great for you and the health of your baby, if the p90x workout sounds right for you (Something you'd be interested sticking with) yeah, I would recommend it. Once your blood gets moving through your body it will boost your immunities therefore boosting the immunities in your breast milk as well, not to mention other great benefits! =D
References :
Wow. I don't mean to sound harsh or offend any of the older ladies out there, but, some tend to be miserable and decide to take it out on other people. She seen you working out with a blessing on the way and just happened to think she knew best.

My advice? Well, just don't listen to them. You're doing a wonderful thing for you and your baby by working out. It's your body and if you think you can handle it then you can. Just ignore them and look forward to your baby ;) Try taking a i-pod or something too. I don't like chatting with people i don't know , specially while being stinky haha, so i keep that on while working out and just go into my own little world.

You have too much stuff to think about, having a baby on the way, to dwell on someone's rude words. People shouldn't say things if they don't have anything nice to say in the first place.

Grr, i think i was venting haha. Sorry, nehow, good luck with the baby! Keep up with what you think is best for yourself.
References :
34 weeks pregnant and lots of experience with mean hags that can't keep to themselves! haha

At least your experience at the gym was better than mine lol. I stopped working out at the gym and started working out at home because a lot of strange looking men are into pregnant women! And they kept watching me on the machines and it felt like me and my baby were being molested with their eyes, ugh!!!

But I have had people tell me to not workout, I let them know that all the current books and my doctor said it was more than ok for me to do so and they can all relax lol
References :
Get used to it, while pregnant there are so many women out there who think they know better than you and they will saying something. When I was 7 months along I was given a weekend pass to go camping (I had gestational hypertension and was on bed and or house rest for months) from my doctor as long as we were not too far from the city and I took my blood pressure machine with me and I did not walk too much, etc...He wanted me to finally get out and enjoy the summer and he felt it would lift my spirits (it was a long, hard pregnancy but I would not change it because I have a beautiful little girl). Anyways, it was warm so we decided to drive to the lake (we could have walked but decided it was better to drive for me) so that I could put my feet/legs in the water and sit in the shade. This woman who was walking her dog told me that I was doing a horrible thing for my baby by one camping and two sitting in the lake because fresh water is not safe for pregnancy. I told her thank you, but I knew what I was doing. My face was not even close to the water so I knew it was safe. Also, many pregnant women go camping, there were 3 other pregnant women at the site!

You know your body best and you are following the directions of your doctor so keep on working out! I think it's great, it will make labor a lot easier for you. Don't let others get you down!
