I mean seriously. Guys are naturally wired to like healthy women. And usually, healthy is slim, with not too much fat. So why are guys called shallow jerks for liking something they’re programmed to like, just because people don’t wanna hurt the feelings of some "curvy" girls who are too lazy to exercise and eat right?
Curvy is Beyonce and J-Lo, not Ashley Fink..
Sorry if I came off as rude but I’m genuinely wondering here.
Probably the typical guilt trip being played by big women. Fact is I’m fit and am not attracted to sloppy looking women. Don’t like curvy, or big anything on a women. Give me a small, slim girl with small breasts and hips any-day. The curvy ones I wouldn’t go out with at gun point, or money !
Can muscle be built and body-fat percentage be lowered with a plan of about 2,000 cal high pro low carb diet and two days of upper body and two days of lower body lifting along with five days of 60 min. cardio training? I weigh 265 lbs on 5 feet 11 inches. When I graduated HS I was 140 lbs. What other benefits can I expect given enough time and i make the exercise program part of my life–NOT stop after losing weight, but continue just like breathing.
For a good cardio workout I would take up cycling. You want to pedal at a higher cadence to help burn fat. When you pedal at a slower pace and mash the pedals it is more like weight lifting.
I go cycling every chance I get and keep a high cadence 75 to 90 rpms and it really makes a difference. I usually keep a pace where I can still talk but can’t sing.

Has it worked for you? I’m interested in everyone’s opinions, but especially any women who have tried the program, as well as somewhat out of shape people. I’m looking to get lean, not super muscular (I’m a woman). Was the 90 day guarantee truthful? Did you find it too difficult to keep up with everyday. Any advice in starting it? Thanks!!
A friend of mine tried it and she liked it. However, I’d recommend Insanity instead. It’s 60 days, which is nice compared to 90. The exercises range from 35-40 minutes and you get Sundays off. Its just more intense and satisfying, in my opinion.
Why do you think it is important to incorporate all of the components of fitness into your exercise program?
So it will make you more fit in a variety of ways: muscle tone, heart health, etc.
My husband is 21 years old, is about 5′11 and weighs in at 220lbs. He and I have been looking into diet and exercise programs for him, but the things we find require a lot of equipment. We have basics such as your free weights and a bench, but that is all. He has been eating much healthier but I am trying to get a workout routine for him and get him motivated. I’ve been studying up on strokes and heart attacks that are effecting guys his age that are obese, and I am concerned for his health and safety. Does anyone have any ideas or websites that can help me out? Also, my husband has an issue with his chest being very large, we think that may be a hormone disorder but he wants to make his chest smaller as well, he can fit into a "B" cup woman’s bra at the moment. Please, any tips, routines, or websites etc are greatly appreciated!
im on this great new diet, an im not kidding when i say this cause this diet actually works. its called medifast. there pre package meals BUT there not really meals…they have things like pretzles and shakes and cheese puffs, brownies, oatmeal, and bars. i know this doesnt sound appetizing but trust me all the stuff is awsome. It depends on your tastes but i love the brownies and the cheese puffs. and the great part is, theres not crap in the food, theres minerals and vitamins and everything is made with soy! its really not that expensive and you get a free week of food with your purchase. the actual program is called Take Shape for Life (look at the link below) i think you call one of the representatives and they;ll help you with the rest. This diet really helped me look at how i eat and limited the number of calories i intook. Believe me when i say that i actually lost 20 lbs in around two months. You will see results very fast, but its not a diet you can take lightly, you have to stick to the rules. I hope this helps because it really helped me out *plus its a low sodium diet so its good for your heart!*
