Good name for a Christian Women exercise ministry…?

I’m in a group at my church called Acteens. We do activities called MissionQuests in which we do a bunch of things. One in particular is a women’s ministry. I’m kinda in charge of setting up a workout group for the women at my church of all ages. I’m trying to think of a cute acronym that spells a word that we could use as the name of our program. I’m going to give you an example that isn’t technically apropriate but I’m just showing you what I’m looking for.

H.O.P.E : healthy old people exercising
yes it’s little on the rude side, but I hope you can see how I want it to be a word, and then each letter of that word to mean something.

I don’t want a bunch of letter together, like…WEAC to be women exercising at church. that’s not the line I want this to flow on…

Thank you for your time and ideas.

P.S- if you can think of any crafts, activities, door prizes, etc. that would flow along with the Christian Women Exercising theme please feel free to share.

Thank you!
God bless.

Well, "Mad Cow Syndrome" has already been taken, so how about ‘Porkers On Parade’? For a door prize you could have a triple decker chocolate cake shaped like a Bible. The best exercizing theme would probably be "Walk Away From The Dinner Table".

Does the exercise program insanity work?

I saw the commercials and stuff and it sounds cool because you only use your body for everything, but the thing that worries me is on the commercials I didn’t really see people who were fat. Yes the people on there had no muscle and some fat but no one was really that fat. For woman who do it will they get tinier and not bigger. Like girls don’t want to have so much muscles as guys do. And also about the menu do you have to follow their menu or can you eat your own food that is healthy. Let me know everything you know about it.

It probably works, but you won’t have any guaranteed results if you don’t follow the eating plan as well. There is a reason they give you exercise AND a food plan, because they know that you will lose weight if you follow them both.

Also just like the name implies, Insanity is probably very hard.

Exercise routine that’s appropriate for three year old Head Start Class.?

I’m a new graduate and I work in a Head Start program in an elementary school. The kids are required to attend a P.E. class that is down the hall from our classroom and they work-out with a P.E. coach. He has the kids doing jumping jacks, stretching, hand push-ups, and arm circling. The kids don’t like the boring exercises and are acting out. The coach got mad at me because I said that the kids in Head Start are supposed to be involved in playful exercise routines, such as bunny hopping around the room and other enjoyable exercises. This coach was blowing his whistle and ordering my ADHD three year old kids to sit in the corner desk in Time Out as punishment for "disrupting the class". The kids didn’t like this mean man and they didn’t enjoy the callesthenics. Now the coach has complained to my lead teacher that I’m "trying to take over his class". The coach wants me to stand in the back of the room so that he can stand front and center and coach his P.E. class. These are three and four year old children in a poverty stricken small Deep South town. Most of the kids are not socialized properly and have never been to a preschool or structured infant-toddler program. This all seems so wrong to me. I’ve heard that the students are required to attend a P.E. class instructed by an elementary school P.E. teacher so that Head Start will pay the school a fee-per-student for these services. I would rather teach the kids P.E. myself in my own classroom and I would direct it in an enjoyable manner. My lead teacher said that we’re not allowed to do that since the school wouldn’t receive their fees for the P.E. education services. Please advise.

this is truly a hard call
you have to find, and bend, the line between
structure and play

like ok, kids won’t eat cream cheese, but they’ll eat snowman cheese

if the participants are put in time out, maybe offer to "handle those" for him, bunny hopping, lobster lunges, and get the ants out jumping jacks , and two handed ice cream face plops in the back of the room

approach those in charge, to be able to keep their fees, that mabe they format a more creative approach, for the littles, so that all can be enjoyed, I mean, what good is Time Out?

The instruction needs to fit the kids attention level, and it still can be playful, and structured, just find that line. Maybe even approach the coach yourself.

What is out there now that will actually help a thirty year old woman lose weight and keep it off?

I have read so many things about so many different pills, exercise programs and what have you. I am confused on what is actually out there to help or just someone looking top make money off of people like me.

I haven’t really tried much, except exercise..walking on the treadmill helped a great deal. I’m 29. i haven’t changed my diet much because i’m addicted desserts. (I bake and cook a lot). Now I heard of this one lady who switched it all around,..she ate dinner for breakfast, lunch for lunch, and breakfast for dinner, no diet, no exercise, and she lost a ton of weight. I’m really not able to try it because i’m on a weird eating schedule..I don’t eat dinner til about 3 in the morn. Also what helped me, (I know it sounds silly)..but I got the Wii fit..and it is incredible..it totally works out your body(and it’s fun), and I been using it less than 2 months, and lost about 15 lbs, it’s good for me because I get bored with the treadmill, and this is fun and different.

Does the Air Force have double standards on adultery for men and women?

(I wrote this question with Governor Mark Sanford in mind. It is unbelievable that the cowardly high command of the Air Force let this Airman stay in his job and in his rank after he was AWOL and committed Adultery??? Please read the case about 1st Lt Kelly Flinn an Air Force Academy Graduate and B-52 pilot. Head and shoulders above Mark Sanford. Who committed adultery and was never charged.)

Kelly Flinn, sometimes referred to as Kelly Flynn in media sources, (b. December 23, 1970, St. Louis, Missouri) was the first female B-52 pilot in the United States Air Force. Flinn was discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1997 after being charged with making a false statement, adultery, and disobeying orders.[1] Flinn’s trouble with the Air Force received widespread media attention at the time and was discussed in a U.S. Senate hearing on May 22, 1997.[1]

[edit] Early life
As a youth she moved to Marietta, Georgia where she attended Lassiter High School and was named "Miss LHS" in 1989 upon graduation. She decided to become a pilot after attending Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.

[edit] Academy
On June 29, 1989 Flinn was accepted by both the United States Air Force Academy and the Naval Academy, with nominations from Senator Sam Nunn and Congressman George "Buddy" Darden, choosing to enter the Air Force as a member of the Class of 1993.

Considered by her Air Officer Commanding ("AOC") to be one of the top cadets at the academy, Flinn was active in many cadet programs, and was selected for an overseas Operation Air Force program, spending the summer of 1991 at Kunsan Air Base in Korea. She was further selected during her senior year to participate in an international exchange program with L’École de l’Air (the French Air Force Academy). Eight cadets are selected every year for this program, becoming provisional ambassadors to France, attending L’École de l’Air and participating in its programs. Flinn flew the Cap-10 and received French jump wings.

[edit] Pilot training
Flinn entered Undergraduate Pilot Training on January 24, 1994 at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, and later attended water survival training and the Combined Services Support Program at Tyndall Air Force Base near Panama City, Florida. In early 1995, Flinn worked in the Wing Scheduling Office back at Columbus AFB, organizing air show information, as well as coordinating Emergency Procedures Training for NASA.

In April 1995, Flinn began B-52 training at Barksdale Air Force Base, in Louisiana, received the highest possible scores on all evaluations (including flight evaluations), and was titled as a distinguished graduate of her class.

[edit] Post-training
Later that October, Flinn was a delegate to the 1995 Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Service conference at Luke Air Force Base. She spoke to several national military leaders, including the Air Force Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Air Force about Air Force policies concerning women in combat.

[edit] Missions
Arriving at Minot AFB, North Dakota, in October 1995, Flinn was mission-qualified for the B-52H Stratofortress by December, as a co-pilot, participating in various B-52 operations for both conventional and nuclear weapons. 1st Lt Flinn participated in various missions, including Hornet’s Nest, Global Guardian, Bulwark Bronze, Statex, Green Flag, NORI, and CORI. Selected to demonstrate B-52H power projection capabilities to the Secretary of the Air Force, 1st Lt Flinn flew on a Global Power long-range airstrike during an international exercise, and participated at air shows at Andrews Air Force Base.

[edit] Charged
1st Lt Flinn faced a court-martial on May 20, 1997 for military charges of adultery with a soccer coach at Minot AFB who was married to a female enlisted subordinate; conduct unbecoming an officer; disobeying a lawful order (in writing, to stay away from the married man) and making a false official statement.[1]

Flinn’s case, due to her high visibility in Air Force recruitment advertisements, as well as the number of her accomplishments during her four years of active-duty service, drew national attention, eventually creating a media circus. She was allowed to resign from the Air

From what I can read she lied, got caught, was told to stop and then kept doing it. She is an Officer and was fully aware of the consequences. She falls under the UCMJ so she has to play by their, way more specific, rules. A Governor falls under conventional laws and sadly is not held to the same standards. As a military member, being fully aware of the laws, you gotta ask yourself "are my stripes/bars and everything I have accomplished worth it?" It must have been some really good sex.

What’s a good diet for losing body fat and gaining muscle?

I have started an exercise program at home and I need to start a diet and eating healthy now though. Does anyone know of a good diet plan to help me lose body fat percentage and gain muscle. I have looked at the belly off diet from men’s health if anyone knows about that and if it works or not. Thanks.
Well I’m about 175lbs and I’m about 6ft 1in. I have my top four abs showing kind of and would like to reduce my body fat to better see my abs and tone up the rest of my body.

Eating healthy food such as fresh fruits and vegetables all the time is essential to keeping your weight off and having a healthy lifestyle. Of course, a good weight training and exercise program that includes cardio workouts is also a good thing as well.

Here are 2 diet plans in a review that’s pretty comprehensive that may help you out:
