Does weight loss cause dizziness?

I am a 34 year old man. I am 5′8" and weigh 154 pounds. Over the past two years, have lost almost 50 pounds by exercising and only eating 1500-1700 calories a day. I phased the program in slowly over time. However, lately I have noticed I get sort of light headed when I stand up quickly. Could this be related to my weight loss?

that’s normal. it happens to everybody.
and what’s the rush!? take it easy when standing up!
and drink lots of water… that could be signs of dehydration too.

Good name for a Christian Women exercise ministry…?

I’m in a group at my church called Acteens. We do activities called MissionQuests in which we do a bunch of things. One in particular is a women’s ministry. I’m kinda in charge of setting up a workout group for the women at my church of all ages. I’m trying to think of a cute acronym that spells a word that we could use as the name of our program. I’m going to give you an example that isn’t technically apropriate but I’m just showing you what I’m looking for.

H.O.P.E : healthy old people exercising
yes it’s little on the rude side, but I hope you can see how I want it to be a word, and then each letter of that word to mean something.

I don’t want a bunch of letter together, like…WEAC to be women exercising at church. that’s not the line I want this to flow on…

Thank you for your time and ideas.

P.S- if you can think of any crafts, activities, door prizes, etc. that would flow along with the Christian Women Exercising theme please feel free to share.

Thank you!
God bless.

Well, "Mad Cow Syndrome" has already been taken, so how about ‘Porkers On Parade’? For a door prize you could have a triple decker chocolate cake shaped like a Bible. The best exercizing theme would probably be "Walk Away From The Dinner Table".

should I try this exercise program? mike geary vs vince delmonte answer asap?

I own the "truth about abs" by mike geary, I lost wieght every where except my stomach and have been applying the information to my life. I wanted to try vince delmontes women program because It looks better I talked to him on facebook he thinks his program is better. should I try his, or not I lost 20lbs on mikes program could i do better?

Its really up to you. I’ve heard DelMonte is great but only if you have the money

What is out there now that will actually help a thirty year old woman lose weight and keep it off?

I have read so many things about so many different pills, exercise programs and what have you. I am confused on what is actually out there to help or just someone looking top make money off of people like me.

I haven’t really tried much, except exercise..walking on the treadmill helped a great deal. I’m 29. i haven’t changed my diet much because i’m addicted desserts. (I bake and cook a lot). Now I heard of this one lady who switched it all around,..she ate dinner for breakfast, lunch for lunch, and breakfast for dinner, no diet, no exercise, and she lost a ton of weight. I’m really not able to try it because i’m on a weird eating schedule..I don’t eat dinner til about 3 in the morn. Also what helped me, (I know it sounds silly)..but I got the Wii fit..and it is incredible..it totally works out your body(and it’s fun), and I been using it less than 2 months, and lost about 15 lbs, it’s good for me because I get bored with the treadmill, and this is fun and different.
